I'm back home!!

HellooOOoo everyone!! I'm home(Blogger)!! 😜 I was away for a long while and didn't manage to update my blog because of numerous events over the last few years. 

Let me share some of my happy moments with you guys. Firstly, Thank our heavenly Father for blessing me with all those beautiful events. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude, and my heart is filled!! 💓

I'd like to tell you guys that dreams do come true, as long as you never lose hope or faith in them. Be it love, career, relationship, dreams, or whatever you have in mind. Trust in Him and walk with faith, He will never leave you alone. 

One of those beautiful events was leaving a group of toxic people and moving forward with no regrets. Someday you look back and smile not because you left them, but because you've achieved your goals in life without negative people around you. 😁 

WooOoohoooOoo!! Finally, I got to travel with my new passport after the whole Covid saga since 2020 (3 years) ✌ I went to Bali last month from 11th July'23 to 14th July’23. My Bali trip was relaxing, and my soul was uplifted by all the delicious food, tasty drinks, and amazing activities. 👍 This was my 2nd time visiting Bali and still love it 💛💜💚💙💘💓

I heard the news saying that beginning next year, tourists visiting Bali, the popular Indonesia holiday destination, will have to pay an entry fee of ten US dollars (nine euros) per person.

You may wanna visit Bali soon this year if you are affected by the entry fee.😅 Anyway, the collected funds will primarily be utilized to support programs aimed at safeguarding the island's environment and culture, as stated by tourism officials recently. 

I am traveling this Wednesday (23rd Aug 23) to Bangkok!! I'm excited to eat fried chicken, BBQ squid with chili, BBQ sausages, and many delicious foods. 😛 Shopping, massage, eating, drinking, and clubbing... oops! 😝

Okie, I'm hitting the sack soon. Let me continue next time after my trip to Bangkok.😃

One of my favorite Bollyhood actor "Sharuk Khan". I love his acting and his comb back hair!!! 

I love all of his LOVE movies cuz they're really touching at times. Personally I feel Deepika and him quite compatible and cute as a couple. 

Happy New Year will be our one of my countdown movie with my siao babu!! Hahaha! This movie was hilarious and entertaining. If really wanna compare with Chennai Express. I would prefer Chennai Express because I like their songs and chemistry in the love. 

Rate: 3.5/ 5 worth watching!!

I've seen just about every horror movie on the market over the past 10 years and the low scores people are giving this movie amaze me. This movie is not that bad at all. It's about a 6.5 on my scale of good horror movies. 

Not the most original plot, but not worse than any other of the 'supernatural' horror movies these days. 

Acting was pretty good all-around. 

High production value, good camera work and nice effects for the most part.

This is by no means up there with The Babadook, Conjuring etc but it is not the worst thing I've ever seen either. If you need something to do give it watch, it won't hurt.

I bought a new desktop for myself. The reason of buying a new desktop because my previous one dying on me.  

What I like about this desktop. It looks kind of Stylish, classy and most important the function are good!

It's a touchscreen and wireless desktop. (^^,) 

09/10/2014 Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast is the adaptation of a story by Madame de Villeneuve. Published anonymously in 1740 as La Jeune Américaine et les contes marins, it paints a portrait of Belle, a joyful and touching young girl who falls in love with the Beast, a cursed creature in search of love and redemption. In 1760, a condensed children’s version was published. It was from this version that Jean Cocteau and then Walt Disney drew their famous adaptations. Overshadowed, the original version by Madame de Villeneuve has never been adapted for the screen... until now!  

Basically is a France movie. I'm kind of disappointed with this movie. Rated: 2/5

I have got to tell anyone who will listen that this is one of THE best adventure and Action movies in Bollywood I've ever seen.

The only word I can think of to describe this movie is BRILLIANT. It's amazing work and everything I had hoped for and more. The entire cast really delivered. You needed more than just action actors or stunt doubles to play all these parts. 

This movie defines Bollywood development.. and Hrthik is awesome in this movie... + dance scenes also so great music (restaurant scene)

You should watch it, better then original!

Also listen soundtrack after movie, i can't stop it! Rate: 4:5

Okay folks. This not an Oscar film for sure. It is also not ground breaking by any means. Hell the only thing even remotely true about the film is the first maybe three minutes.

This is every horror movie you have ever seen rolled into one. One minute you feel like your watching Rosemary's Baby. Then Rosemary is in the Amityville house. The next moment here comes Chucky with even a little Helter Skelter thrown into the mix. But everything I could say that is wrong with this film is exactly why it works. it embraces its cheese factor. Even revels in it at times. The film has some great scares and in a few cases some real interesting ones. It is just simply a lot of fun to watch with a lot of people. So much so, when Annabelle reveals herself fully you find yourself really into it. I thought the ending was weak but by the time you get to the end it would be very hard to raise the level suspense any higher. There is a scene with a sewing machine and Jiffy Pop which I think should go down in horror movie history for the right way to build suspense. It was funny listening to the audiences nervous giggles as something was about to happen. Go to this as entertainment and nothing more. Nothing deep here. Very little real here. It is based on a true story. However, based is a very loose word here. Three minutes is based upon a true story. Just good October  fun. Rate: 3.5/5

Well, it's a decent effort. The tales are pretty creepy and the movie plods along at a good pace leaving little time to get bored.

I quite liked the premise behind the various tales but while they may be creepy, they never actually become scary.

What I didn't like about the movie was the sub-standard special effects and more importantly, the poor acting that was frequently on display. To be honest, some of the acting really is terrible which makes me wonder how those actors ever got past the audition stages??

Bottom line is that this movie will pass a couple of hours, you will be entertained, but it's ultimately very forgettable and if you're looking for a pre-Halloween scare then this is definitely not gonna do the job.

Each and every part of the story actually quite good. The Xiao Bao Bao (小宝宝) and Ghost Pool Leg (鬼拉脚). Those are the quite basic ghost story we known of in Singapore. Eg: cannot swim when hungry ghost festival and revenge all. 

I will rate them 3.5/5. Surprisingly, local horror movie can even compete with one of the Hollywood movie with no storyline haha! Well done! 

19/09/14 The Damned

The film follows American David Reynolds (Peter Facinelli), widowed from his Colombian-born wife, who flies to Bogota with his new fiancée (Sophia Myles) to retrieve his rebellious teenage daughter Jill (Nathalia Ramos). En route to the city of Medellin, a car accident leaves them stranded in a rundown isolated inn. When they discover the old innkeeper has locked a young girl in the basement, they are determined to set her free. But have they made a terrible mistake?

The movie started to be interesting after they set her free. Haha, the movie kind of bloody and scary but somehow the movie also mind f us? Keep us in suspense and letting us to guess who is the one got possessed.  

The father roll in this movie is the same guy acted in Twilight movie as a father roll too!

If you’ll recall, the original Purge took an enticingly twisted premise and fashioned a Twilight Zone–inflected home-invasion thriller around it. The futuristic idea behind the “purge” itself — for one 12-hour period every year, all crime is legal, and cops and hospitals can’t help you — was mostly just setup: The real drama lay in watching what happened when one safe, secure, prosperous family dared to shelter a lowly refugee fleeing from others of their ilk. It was internecine bourgeois warfare, with only brief glimpses of the have-nots slaughtering each other in the streets. 

The Purge: Anarchy is a genuinely angry movie. When the good guys are yelling things like, “Get ready to bleed, rich bitches!” you know you’ve gone through the looking glass. Of course, it's silly to pretend that there isn't a load of hypocrisy at the heart of such rabble-rousing entertainment: If there were an actual war on the rich, Hollywood itself would be reduced to a pile of ash within seconds. But it's also breathtaking to watch a throwaway studio sequel break its corporate chains before your very eyes and become something thrilling and dangerous and alive.

Personally I think this movie is good. I love the storyline and how the game started and end. 

I bought the DVD too! Worth watching it! I rate this movie 4/5 😊

Wow, I really anticipated on this movie, suspense, action, the unknown, it all sounds very exciting.

Now I must say that I have seen some very good movies and series round this theme that may influence my judgment, for example The Cube (1 - 3), Persons Unknown, Saw, etc. all have a person or group of persons who don't know how they get there or how to get away. 

How is it possible that those movies, some dating from 1997, are so much better then a 2014 movie? And being almost 2 hours long, how come so little happens in those 2 hours? 

Some reviewers already mentioned the contradictory and illogical elements in this movie, and yes, this does this movie, with such much potential, not much good, it's just annoying to see them not try what is so logic. The movie is entertaining, but leaves you very unsatisfied. Rate:
