I love horror movies. Unfortunately nine times out of ten when I go to see one I am disappointed. This was definitely the exception. Absolutely the best horror film I have seen in a very very long time.
I noticed the one reviewer felt it was more a crime drama and thus should not be called "horror". In my opinion...the true horror is that which is real. This story, supposedly based on real crimes, scared the living daylights out of me. You don't have to jump and scream to be scared....it is more scary to view first hand the deep depravity of man and of evil. Definitely best to see in a theater on the big screen. Awesome movie!!

The film tells three inter-connected love stories that take place in Paris, New York and Rome.
Paris: Michael (Neeson), a writer who recently left his wife Elaine (Basinger), receives a visit from his lover Anna (Wilde). The story explores their very complicated on/off relationship due to her inability to commit because of a terrible secret.[5]
New York: Julia (Kunis) has recently been charged with attempting to kill her son, a charge which she firmly denies. As a result of these charges, her son is now in the custody of his father Rick (Franco) who is trying everything in his power to take the boy away from her. Julia is trying at all costs to regain custody of her son.
Rome: Scott (Brody), an American business man on a trip to Italy, falls in love with an Albanian gypsy (Roma)woman, Monica (Atias). Scott is inevitably drawn into a plot where he tries to free Monica's daughter who has been kidnapped by a Russian gangster and is being held for ransom. Emotions run high as the viewer and Scott question whether this is a set up or not.
Personally I dislike this movie! There's 3parts of each story in this movie. I find it quite confusing? Is it me or the movie? Hah! Anyway I don't think it worth watching it in the cinema. I rather watch it on tv. . . . Boring!

Maybe this was scary 15 years ago but now is almost 2015. We saw crap like this many times before. There are some known actors (not mega actors but still known) in this movie where I think why the hell they went for this movie. Acting also is unbelievable. There is no explanation to this movie. It ends just as stupid as it started. Scream and credits here we come. Some reviewers here say it is entertaining. If this is entertaining than what is boring for those people? Really! Once again - Do not waste your time and money. Save yourself from this cheap film.
The movie was so so. It was predictable though my friends laughs their heads off, I repeat LAUGHS. Still prefer the 1st movie, the best but still give you a four popcorn cause I laughed like never before seeing my friends scream with popcorns flying everywhere and covered eyes! | |
I did not see the previous Jon On, to me some some horror scenes can be pre-guessed so that the result becomes not really that scary. Is always the sound effects that get to me first, to me the horror part was the bathroom part. |
